Calcium formate, also called formic acid calcium, molecular formula for C2H204Ca in industry used in concrete and mortars additives.

2. General Application

It widely used in the building industry as construction materials,such as faster setting,early strength gain accelering admixture for concrete or dry mixed mortars. It is also used as new feedstuff additive,fit for various animals,acidification,mildewproof,reinforce calcium,antibacterial and also can be used for leather product.

3. Product Properties

The product is used for building mortar and various kinds of concrete, to speed up the hardening of cement, shorten the setting time,  avoid the condensation rate is too slow under low temperature. With rapid separation, improving cement’s strength so that could put it into use as soon as possible.

4.Packing

A. Standard packing: In 25kg or 1000 kg paper bags inner with PE bags. 

B. Big bags or other special packages as clients’ request.

5.Storage

Store in normal temperature, avoid moisture, products expiry more than two years.

6.Dosage of reference

Calcium formate dosage of participation and matters needing attention every tons of dry mortar, the dosage of the concrete is about 0.5 ~ 1.0%, the maximum 2.5%.The amount of calcium formate is decreased as the temperature increase gradually, even in the summer of 0.3~0.5% of the amount of application, also will have obvious effect of early strength.
